Whatever the Weather

Australian owned and designed, Pipduck helps you look polished in any weather.

Australian owned and designed, Pipduck began with a simple goal: to make gumboots that women actually wanted to wear. The first collection combined practicality with style — and quickly proved that rainwear didn’t have to be dull. Over time, Pipduck grew into a large collection of boot designs and introduced its signature raincoat. With a flattering A-line silhouette made from panelled construction, it was designed to withstand all weather conditions — fully lined and with a detachable hood for maximum versatility.

Whatever the Weather

In 2019, the business quietly changed hands. A long-time team member and South Coast NSW local took over the reins, just months before the pandemic hit. Like many small businesses, Pipduck faced significant challenges — particularly around manufacturing delays and an uncertain economy, which made decision-making difficult. The product range was vast and, at times, unsustainable. But these “Covid hangover” years have also reinforced what really matters: staying adaptable, keeping things personal and continuing to offer the most loved, most reliable rainwear pieces.

Rather than dilute what made Pipduck special, this new chapter has sharpened its focus — combining timeless design with real-life practicality for women who are out there doing life, whatever the weather.
Now run from a small warehouse on the south coast of NSW, Pipduck remains proudly independent. Its small team picks and packs every order in-house, handling everything behind the scenes with care and attention. Every piece is made to be worn often, not just once in a while, and the brand stands by that
with a 12-month warranty.

Whatever the Weather
