For this issue of Australian Country we’re looking forward to the warmer weather as we start our tour around the country with a beautiful beach house at Peregian on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

We welcome spring by visiting a splendid garden in the NSW Southern Highlands and take a tour of a wonderful historic homestead in north-eastern Tasmania. Then we head over to Western Australia for a celebration of one of the season’s great delights, the annual wildflower display. While over there, we journey to the Wheatbelt, where three enterprising farmers are making a name for themselves as quinoa growers. We also have fashion for a weekend in the country, plus recipes using pawpaw and our service feature looks at the many ways to spruce up the bathroom. Dare we remind you that the festive season is just around the corner? We’ve a great new gift guide, plus an inspirational DIY project to put you in the mood.

So be sure to join us for the next issue of Australian Country, on sale October 13.
